Kotaku reported that a Twitch streamer named DeanoBeano recently used the DK Bongos controller to ramp up a streak of roughly 105 kills and assists in Call Of Duty: Vanguard. In addition to the first Donkey Konga and its two sequels (the latter of which was only released in Japan), the Donkey Kong drums would also have use in the 2005 platformer Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, which tasked players with helping DK navigate across colorful landscapes by pounding and clapping along to prompts.
